Paramo’s garments are easily washed and reproofed using Nikwax Tech Wash and TX Direct. We recommend that you wash your Paramo garments using Nikwax Tech Wash every 4-8 weeks of regular wear. 

Just because you wash your garments, however, does not mean that you should also reproof your clothing as over-proofing will affect breathability. Instead, try to gauge when your Paramo garments are not effectively ‘wicking’ the rain as effectively as when freshly reproofed. When this occurs, use Nikwax TX Direct to reproof your items for good as new performance.

When washing and reproofing your Paramo gear, it is always important that you follow all instructions on the Nikwax product’s directions for use.
